Frequently Asked Questions

1. When does our family owe our monthly dues?

Monthly invoices are generated on the 21st of the previous month being billed. (i.e. – July dues are generated on June 21st. July dues should be paid between the 1st and the 10th of that month.)  A late fee of $25 will be assessed if there is a remaining balance when the next month’s invoice is generated.

2. What do I do if my child is going to miss a month or two?

You should first discuss any changes in your child’s status with their coach, THEN contact
Diane as soon as possible so that your account may be adjusted accordingly.  If you do not contact Diane, your account will be charged as though your child was training for that period.

*You must alert your Coach AND Diane before the 21st of the previous month to avoid being invoiced for following month.  If you alert Diane before the 10th of the current month, we will credit your account ½ of the month’s dues.  You will still owe the other half.  Please make an effort to plan ahead if you will be missing.  Please resist deciding, well into the month, that your child has not attended so far and won’t be for the rest of the month.

3.)    How do I cancel a membership?

Please discuss any changes in your child’s status with their coach AND Coach Sherrard.  After you have discussed your intent to cancel, please notify Diane.
If you do not contact Diane, your account will be charged as though your child was training for that period.

4.)    If my child only wants to swim half the number of offered practices, can I get a special rate?

No.  If you swim a specific month whether two times a week or four times a week, you will owe the full monthly tuition by the 10th of that month.  We cannot prorate tuition for a number of reasons including the inability to successfully monitor the practice as well as being unable to offer it to every LAS family.  However, if your child does not attend practice a particular month, please contact Diane at dtsherrard@yahoo.com, so that you don’t get charged for that month.
